Get a Targeted 10% Discount Gift Card Today and Create Your Own Sale Later
Target is offering their gift cards with a 10% discount today, so now is the time to go back to my best advice for buying holiday gifts: Buy yourself a discount gift card.
There is no rule that gift cards should be used for gifts, and retailers often offer gift cards during the holidays with a little discount or some kind of bonus.
In Target’s case, the retailer is offering 10% of all gift card purchases up to $ 300 today.
While you don’t necessarily need a Target gift card, you might need something at Target. By purchasing a discounted gift card, you essentially get a 10% discount on your holiday gift – a crate of beer – on groceries for a week.
The best part about gift cards is that they work like cash, so if that gift already has a 30% discount for a week, paying with a gift card will further increase that discount.
As you can imagine, there are a few caveats when promoting gift cards:
- You need to spend at least $ 10 per card, but you’re limited to $ 300 per family.
- You cannot use the gift card before 10am Central Time.
- You must purchase the card from Target online or from the store directly.
And if you’re not the target customer, I recommend looking for similar deals from other retailers this holiday season. Buying discounted gift cards for personal use is a great way to create your own little “sale” of anything you need or want to buy in the future.
