How to Make Your Press Video More Interesting
Last week we talked about how to make wheel rolling out for the press less crap, but this may not be your style. Maybe you want to see how much worse this exercise can get. Or at least there is something to strive for.
So here are a few tricks you can do to shake things up. Remember, remember the correct form and perform them against a wall if you find it difficult to keep the end of the movement under control.
- Raise your feet on a bench or something unstable, such as a ball or bow. Start small as there is a high risk of falling on your face.
- Do the roll-out while standing, not on your knees . Only do this if you are good at kneeling.
- Tie a ribbon to one side . (This will be easier if you are riding a barbell rather than a small plastic wheel.) Tie it to a rack or other sturdy object so it tries to pull the bar to the side. You must now resist this tension during the exercise, as you would with alight press .
Maybe you’re not ready for any of this, and that’s okay! Regular deployments are still good, as are the boards we talked about in the first week . Play around and let us know what your favorite one turns out to be.
