Use Alexa to Help You Meditate With This Skill

I’m trying to meditate more this year, which took a pretty deep dive into all the meditation tools you can find on the Internet, especially the free ones.

I recently stumbled upon an Alexa skill that I really like: mindfulness meditation .

The tool is free and includes five different meditations lasting from three to 20 minutes. And a huge bonus: they use the instructor’s voice, not Alexa’s robotic voice.

Here are the options he suggests:

  • 3 Minute Breathing Mindfulness Meditation
  • Four-minute body scan to focus on body awareness
  • 5 Minute Tension Relief Meditation
  • Ten Minute Inner Wisdom Meditation
  • A twenty minute full meditation focusing on bodily sensations, sounds, breathing, feelings, and more.

To use it, you need to enable it on your Alexa device. Then you can say “Alexa, open mindfulness meditation” and follow the instructions to get to the meditation you want, or you can say “Alexa, open 10-minute meditation” to jump straight to any of the options that interest you. in testing.

I have found that they are pleasant enough that I don’t mind repeating the same thing over and over, which I cannot say for some of the other options I have tried.
