If you always walk into the same coffee shop for a bite to eat – and this one turns out to be Panera – you might want to subscribe.
Yeah. This is a coffee subscription. Because now everything is by subscription.
But this one might prove useful for the diehard drip coffee aficionado. This is how it works:
You sign up for a Panera Coffee subscription for $ 8.99 per month (plus tax). You must be a member of the MyPanera Rewards Program to register , but this program is free.
You come when you want. (Fine print: you can only come every two hours.) You may order one hot coffee, iced coffee, or hot tea per visit.
That’s all. Plus, Panera now allows you to pour your own almond milk into the coffee station for free, excluding the additional cost.
Panera coffee typically costs $ 2.09 for 16 ounces. cups and $ 2.39 for a 20 oz cup. Iced coffee, meanwhile, usually costs $ 2.19 for 20 ounces. or $ 2.59 for 32 ounces. Hot tea will set you back $ 2.19.
The math here is pretty simple. If you get a big hot coffee at Panera once a week, you pay $ 9.56. So you will break down, even if you are not the kind of person who stops every single day on the way to the office.
