Samsung Offers Its Customers Free in-Store Disinfection of Devices
Ultraviolet (UV) light may be known for its intensity of skin damage, but it can also be used to disinfect your electronic devices and protect against the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses or bacteria. Ultraviolet disinfection, which uses UV C light in particular, is common practice in many electronics repair shops because it avoids the use of liquids or potentially corrosive and toxic chemicals. Some companies have even begun offering UV treatment services in response to the spread of COVID-19, and Samsung owners can spray their devices with disinfectant rays for free at participating Samsung stores.
In most regions, Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung Service Centers are equipped with UV cleaners that employees use with customers’ phones and will now disinfect your Samsung smartphones, although some also provide cleaning for tablets and smartwatches. …
