How to Cancel Your Quibi Subscription

Quibi ‘s new approach to short content was meant to set it apart from the likes of Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu, but it had a slightly rough start; it turns out that the time when no one goes to work is not the time to launch a convenient mobile streaming platform . However, even if you are passionate about the concept and content, knowing how to unsubscribe from Quibi might come in handy someday.

Even if you don’t want to sign out of Quibli, you may need to know how to cancel: Your subscription is billed through an Apple or Android account linked to the device you first used to subscribe to it. If you ever decide to switch from Team iOS to Team Android, or vice versa, you’ll want to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to avoid any billing issues. Whatever the reason, canceling a subscription works pretty much the same whether you’re using an iPhone or Android:

Cancellation in the Quibi app

1. Open the Quibi mobile app
2. Tap your profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen to open the settings menu.
3. Click “My Account”
4. Click Change Subscription Plan
5. Scroll down and click Manage Subscriptions.
6. From here, you will be taken to the Subscription Management page for the account that Quibi is associated with.
7. Find and tap Quibi, then tap Cancel.
8. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the cancellation process and you’re done!

Cancellation from your Apple or Android account

You can also skip the Quibi app and go directly to the sign up page for your Apple or Android account.

iOS, iPad and Apple TV:

1. Open the Settings app
2. Click on your Apple ID
3. Click on subscriptions
4. Select Quibi, then Cancel.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Android:

1. Open the Play Store app.
2. Open the side menu and click Subscriptions.
3. Find and tap Quibi, then tap Unsubscribe.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the cancellation.

You will still be able to access Quibi until the end of your paid month or the end of your free trial.
