How to Watch Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Reunion
One of the few bright spots in the last few months of quarantine has been Josh Gad’s YouTube series Reunited Separately . Every few weeks he arranges a virtual meeting with the stars and other crew members from the most beloved films of the 1980s, such as The Lord of the Rings ,Goofs,Back to the Future,Splash. “ And more recently” Ghostbusters “. Tomorrow (Sunday, June 28), Gad will wrap up the series with a reunion of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Here’s who is involved and how to watch.
Earlier this week, Gad released a trailer for the reunion (see above), but unlike previous trailers for the series, it doesn’t really reveal much other than that it will involve Matthew Broderick (who played Ferris Bueller). Luckily, The Today Show interviewed Gad about tomorrow’s reunion, and we learned that Alan Ruck (Cameron Frye), Mia Sarah (Sloan Peterson), Jennifer Gray (Jeanie Bueller), and Ben Stein (just called the “economics teacher”) are also included, along with “many surprises along the way.”
In each episode, Gad collects money for various charities. Previous organizations have included Project HOPE (a global health and humanitarian relief organization), DigDeep (working to ensure that every American has access to water and sanitation), The Center for Disaster Philanthropy (supporting those most affected by COVID-19 pandemic) and the Equal Justice Initiative (which works to end mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States, challenge racial and economic injustice, and protect basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society). At this point, he has yet to announce which organization will receive donations from this series.
