Get These Cool Stickers for IOS Apps by Granting the Equal Justice Initiative
Apple’s WWDC 2020 will be remote, only available online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This solution keeps members safe, but it has its drawbacks, namely the social aspect of WWDC, where developers meet to discuss issues and exchange merchandise, including stickers and app icons.
To keep the sticker trade tradition alive in light of this year’s digital WWDC, app development studio Team Nighthawk teamed up with over ninety other app developers to create the Indie Sticker Pack . You will receive over 100 stickers representing apps from over 90 developers. Moreover, all proceeds will be split in equal donations to the Equal Justice Initiative and the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Response Fund .
You can buy the stickers as a physical package for $ 12.99 to be shipped to you in the near future (exact times will depend on the volume of orders received and Team Nighthawk’s resources), as well as a set of digital stickers / badges that can be used. at iMessage for $ 1 in the App Store .
The Nighthawk team has highlighted its commitment to transparency so that customers and developers can see where the money is going, and intends to post updates on Twitter to keep everyone up to date on production and expected delivery times. This is all covered on the Indie Sticker Pack FAQ page . The Indie Sticker Pack page also has a Support link where you can contact Team Nighthawk by email if you have any questions.
It would be great to see similar communities collect packages like this for other events that went digital this year – for example, this year’s PAX badge collection won’t be able to collect and exchange in person as usual. … As for WWDC, you’ll be able to watch Apple’s big press conference on Monday June 22nd ET / 10am PST. Make sure you set a reminder so you don’t miss it .
