Drink HBO Watchmen for Free This Weekend

The 1921 Black Wall Street Massacre is one of the greatest and bloodiest tragedies in American history. Over the course of two days, from late May to early June, mobs of violent white people infiltrated the black community and black businesses in urban Greenwood, killing hundreds, injuring thousands more, and destroying a thriving community. However, many Americans remained unaware of the “single worst case of racial violence” in our country’s history until it appeared as a storyline on HBO’s Watchmen , an alleged telecast about superheroes. Today, HBO announced what it would do Watchmen freely flow this June, as Donald Trump prepares for a mass rally near the site of the historic killings, national protests continue against the systematic use of police violence against black Americans.
