Show Your Airplane Freak Kids This JetBlue Video Series

You and your kids probably don’t travel much by air these days, but while we’re all mostly grounded, JetBlue has created a new series of videos to communicate, entertain, and educate kids who are interested in airplanes and airports.

JetBlue Jr. Video Series covers a wide variety of topics, from parts of an airplane and how to navigate, to how the airplane actually stays in the air – I found this video particularly striking, but maybe it’s just me.

Here’s what JetBlue has to say about the video series on its website:

Our passion is to keep you entertained and informed, even if you are not flying with us.

And let’s be honest – some of you can probably use in-flight fun for your little ones right now. You know what they say, time flies by when you are learning something new.

I just had to share this because I respect the adherence to pun. They went for broke, and I’m here for that. Anyway, here are four videos that have been released so far (at least one more will be released in the coming weeks). Each lasts about 5-7 minutes:

The videos are for children ages 7 to 10, and each has an additional activity sheet for parents to download and print. Lesson 2 also includes four different DIY paper airplane patterns to help kids learn how to fold their own airplanes at home, a skill all kids should master.
