One of the joys of parenting is sharing your favorite children’s films with your children. There is no better time to watch your favorite old school family movies than these days, especially since your must-see list can seem a little thin after so many months of snacking on all the shows. As a side note, family films before the modern era were not always so preoccupied with, for example, racist, sexist, or homophobic. I’ve done my best to ensure that these films don’t spew hate in the name of comedy, but films from the 1990s and earlier were created with a different sensibility in mind.
