Take Free Photography Lessons From Nikon Until the End of the Year
Now that we all go around with digital cameras all the time (thanks to our phones), we can get into the habit of taking pictures without thinking about it. This is not bad – very handy to have a tool to capture unexpected moments, or a check that you need, but you will probably end up missing out on it.
But cameras – even the ones in our phones – can do so much more. And if you’ve thought about attending a photography class, now is your chance: Nikon is offering all of its popular online classes for free until the end of 2020. Here’s how to access them.
What you need to know about free classes
Even if we do not go on vacation this year, this does not mean that our home photos should be boring. To help with that, one of the free tutorials on offer is dedicated to enhancing our holiday photos. Per Jay Vannatter, Executive Vice President, Nikon Inc :
“Nikon School’s online classes are a great way to help everyone brush up on their photography skills and inspire them to create and share their stunning photos and videos with their friends and family this holiday season. Whether you’re celebrating the holidays at home with loved ones or getting together virtually, the power of visualization helps us stay connected, creatively and with inspiration. “
Other classes offered a focus on lighting, landscape photography, portraits of children and pets, macro photography, environmental portraiture, and music video production.
How to access classes
To take one of these classes, visit this page on the Nikon website and watch short introductory videos for each class. When you find the one you want to borrow, click View Full Version below the preview video. You will then need to provide your first and last name, email address and country of residence in order to access the entire class. Grab one or all of them – just be sure to do it before December 31, 2020, when the offer expires.
