The Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet Is Now on Sale for 53% Off.
While it’s not the most powerful tablet Amazon has ever sold (the most powerful was the Amazon Fire Max 11, which was discontinued in 2023 and has yet to release a successor), the Fire HD 10 is the best value in the lineup, offering a good balance of performance and affordability for those who need a tablet for watching movies and TV shows, casual gaming, web browsing, reading, or listening to music and podcasts. And right now, it’s more affordable than ever, with a 53% discount, bringing its price to an all-time low of $72.99. (Note that this offer applies to the version of the device with lock screen ads.)
The Fire HD 10 tablet offers a wide range of everyday features that are hard to beat in the sub-$75 price range, including a large 10.1-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and microSD card expandability up to 1TB, as well as a USB-C port and a headphone jack. It’s an ideal choice for those who already use Amazon services like Prime Video, Kindle, Audible, and Alexa, although since it only has access to the Amazon app store, its app selection is more limited than a standard Android tablet.
As for battery life, PCMag reports up to 13 hours (more than 10 hours when streaming HD video at maximum brightness), earning the device an Editor’s Choice award. The included 9W charger fully charges the device in approximately four hours; with a 15W charger (sold separately), that time drops to three hours.
With a high-quality display, impressive battery life, and a well-designed design focused on Amazon services, the Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet offers enough power for everyday tasks and is a worthy choice given its current significant discount. If you’re looking for a faster Android alternative with full access to Google Play, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ is a solid option, albeit significantly more expensive.
