This Incredibly Fast Asus OLED Gaming Monitor Is Now on Sale for $210.
The Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG monitor is on sale on Amazon for $549, $210 off its regular price of $759. It’s a high-end gaming monitor designed for gamers who want top-end performance without having to upgrade to a larger screen—and you get a free 90-day Amazon Music subscription with your purchase. It features a 27-inch QD-OLED panel with a 2560×1440 resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate, making it a sought-after option for competitive gaming, putting the XG27ACDNG in direct competition with premium models like the Alienware AW2725DF .
Image quality is one of the monitor’s key advantages. The QD-OLED panel delivers deep blacks and excellent contrast, making games and movies especially striking in dark rooms. The monitor also supports FreeSync and G-Sync, ensuring smooth gameplay at a wide range of frame rates on both AMD and Nvidia systems. Performance is also impressive, particularly in motion processing—the 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time ensure fast-moving objects are sharp, making competitive shooters, racing games, and esports feel particularly responsive. Input lag is also very low, further enhancing the sense of responsiveness.
Beyond gaming, Asus has also added several features aimed at long-term use, including a built-in heatsink and OLED Care+ tools designed to minimize the risk of pixel burn-in, a USB-C port with 90W power delivery, a USB hub, and a KVM switch, making the monitor more convenient for workstations and users working with multiple devices. However, like many QD-OLED monitors, the panel can lose some of its deep blacks in brightly lit rooms, where ambient light can cause a slight purple tint in dark areas of the screen. VRR flickering can also become noticeable with frame rate fluctuations, especially in dark scenes, and the monitor lacks built-in speakers.
