This Compact DJI Vlogging Camera Kit Is Now 21% Off.
The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo is currently on sale for $495, down from $629, a savings of $134 and its lowest price ever, according to price tracking sites . That’s a pretty good deal if you were considering a standalone camera for vlogging, travel videos, or social media content, especially since the Creator Combo includes accessories you’d otherwise have to buy separately. In addition to the camera, you get a DJI Mic 2 transmitter for clearer voice recording, a battery pack for longer shoots, and a mini tripod, which is handy for handheld self-shots.
As for the camera itself, it uses a 1-inch (Type 1) sensor, which handles low light better than earlier Pocket models, and records 4K video at up to 120 fps, so you can capture everything from casual vlogs to slow-motion footage. Thanks to the three-axis mechanical stabilizer, you can walk while shooting without worrying about image shake, and the wide-angle lens with a 20mm equivalent focal length gives you plenty of room to fit yourself and your surroundings into the frame. The articulating 2-inch touchscreen also makes it much easier to switch between horizontal videos for YouTube and vertical clips for Instagram.
PCMag also praised the camera’s natural color profiles, while more experienced content creators can use 10-bit D-Log M for more precise color control during editing. Audio has received similar attention: the camera records in stereo and connects directly to two DJI Mic 2 or Mic Mini transmitters. The included collar-mounted transmitter ensures clear voice capture during interviews or while walking down a busy street. The main drawback is durability: the camera isn’t weatherproof and isn’t particularly rugged, so rain, dust, and rough handling are a concern. You’ll also need a microSD card for storage, and there’s no HDMI output.
