This Anker Portable Projector (With Google TV) Is Now $100 Off.
The Anker Nebula P1i portable projector is on sale on Amazon for $299 instead of $399, which is $100 cheaper than the Full HD projector with built-in streaming—it runs Google TV out of the box, so you can start enjoying apps like Netflix right away without connecting a streaming device , and Anker’s Smart Instant Setup feature automatically adjusts focus, keystone correction, and screen alignment, getting your picture ready with minimal effort.
This convenience extends to the projector’s portability: the Nebula P1i weighs just under five pounds, making it easy to move between rooms or take outdoors. However, its lightweight design means that an accidental bump can dislodge the image, so for a more stable setup, consider a tripod. Connectivity is fairly straightforward: there’s an HDMI port, a USB-A port, and a headphone jack for connecting external devices, but the built-in interface already covers most streaming needs.
In terms of image and sound quality, the Nebula P1i delivers a decent viewing experience for its price, but there are a few limitations to keep in mind: it supports 4K input but projects at 1080p resolution, delivering fairly natural colors and a sharp image, though edges may appear less crisp if the projector is positioned at an angle. Brightness is another important factor, as the image looks best in a dark room or at night, while most details are washed out in daylight.
As for sound, the retractable speakers are loud enough for a small group and reproduce dialogue clearly, but they lack the depth to create a truly immersive atmosphere in movies. For better sound, you might want to consider connecting a Bluetooth speaker . Furthermore, it doesn’t have a built-in battery, so it must be plugged in at all times, somewhat limiting the flexibility you might expect from a portable projector.
