The Latest Prime Day Deals See the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic With a Rotating Bezel on Sale for $160.
Amazon’s October Prime Day sale is in full swing, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic (46mm, LTE) is down from $549.99 to $389.99, a $160 discount from its regular price and the lowest price to date, according to price tracking sites . That’s still $90 more expensive than the 44mm Galaxy Watch 8 with LTE—even though these smartwatches share most of the same core features, including Google Gemini, sleep coaching, and Galaxy AI-powered running training plans to help you prepare for anything from a 5K to a marathon.
First and foremost, it boasts longer battery life (49 hours in PCMag’s testing, compared to the base model requiring daily charging) and higher-quality hardware, particularly the stainless steel case and physical rotating bezel (most recently seen on the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic ), which allows you to scroll through menus and notifications without constantly swiping across the screen. The Watch 8 Classic comes in a single 46mm size with a penta-core Samsung Exynos W1000 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage (double that of the base Watch 8).
This watch isn’t just designed for everyday wear: it’s IP68 dust- and water-resistant, 5ATM waterproof, and MIL-STD-810H certified for environmental conditions like temperature fluctuations, vibration, and shock. Health and fitness features include GPS, heart rate tracking (accurate, according to PCMag ), blood oxygen level measurement, temperature, and ECG—all with LTE support, allowing you to take calls without leaving home. The biggest drawback is compatibility, as the watch requires a phone running Android 12 or later with more than 1.5GB of RAM. Furthermore, Samsung keeps gesture controls, AI-powered analytics, and snoring detection exclusive to its phones.
