The Google Pixel Watch 5 Smartwatch With Gemini Processor Is on Sale for $85 As Part of the October Prime Day Sale.

During Amazon’s October Prime Day sale, the latest Google Pixel Watch 5 (45mm, LTE) smartwatch was sold for $444.99 instead of $529.99, which, according to price-tracking sites , is its lowest price ever. PCMag calls it the best smartwatch for Android users , largely due to its deep Gemini integration—the assistant works proactively, so it can show you flight information on the way to the airport or suggest a contact number while you’re texting about dinner plans, and a new AI-powered health coach analyzes your workouts with personalized recommendations, though some of its fitness tips are only available with a paid subscription.

Powering all these AI features is a faster Qualcomm processor, which Google says improves overall smartwatch performance by 20%, while RAM is increased from 2GB to 3GB and storage is doubled to 64GB compared to the Pixel Watch 4. As for the health hardware, Google left it largely unchanged, so you still get heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, ECG readings, skin temperature, GPS, and sleep tracking with reportedly accurate results. However, there’s a catch: this is still an Android-only watch, requiring Android 12 or later, and some of the best AI features work best on newer Pixel phones.

What do you think at the moment?

Externally, the Watch 5 isn’t much different from its predecessor, retaining the familiar convex display protected by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass but adding new watch faces with rounded edges. The screen reaches up to 3000 nits of brightness and adapts to ambient light, so it should remain easy to read whether you’re jogging in the sun or in a dimly lit room. As for durability, the IP68 and 5ATM ratings mean you can wear it during a workout, at the beach, or in the pool without worrying about dust or water. Charging isn’t a daily chore either: in testing, the watch lasted up to 56.5 hours. More intensive use will shorten that time, but you’ll still have a good chance of lasting two full days with enough power to track your sleep at night.
