Nothing Over-Ear Headphones Are Over $100 Off During the October Prime Day Sale.

Nothing’s first over-ear headphones, the Headphone (1) , are on sale for $110 as part of Amazon Prime’s Big Deal Days promotion, dropping their price from $299 to $189 (the lowest price ever, according to price trackers ) during the sale, which runs through October 7. The newer Nothing Headphone (a) , released in 2026 and rated “excellent” in a PCMag review, is also on sale, dropping its price from $199 to $129. In keeping with the company’s signature style, these headphones feature transparent elements and bold geometric details that set them apart from the typical matte-black models. But their appeal extends beyond their appearance. These IP52-rated headphones use 40mm drivers, hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), and USB-C and 3.5mm ports. They also support high-resolution audio via LDAC, and the companion Nothing app offers basic and advanced EQ controls for customizing your audio experience. Battery life is also impressive: up to 35 hours with ANC enabled and up to 80 hours with it disabled.
But the hardware alone isn’t enough to fully immerse you in the world of wireless headphones—it’s the control scheme that makes them unique. Instead of touchpads or bulky buttons, you get a convenient volume wheel (they call it a “roller”), a multi-function joystick button for navigating tracks, and a customizable button for switching EQ profiles or noise-canceling modes. The tactile sensations take a little getting used to, but once you do, they become intuitive and truly useful. You also get support for spatial audio and multipoint Bluetooth, which work well on Android and iOS.
Comfort can vary: the earcups aren’t the softest for long sessions, and while they have a soft lining, the shape may not be suitable for everyone. As for performance, the active noise cancellation system handles low-frequency noise well (such as aircraft engines and AC hum), but struggles with harsher, unexpected sounds like clinking dishes or nearby conversations. The sound profile is quite rich, especially with some EQ adjustments in the app, but achieving the best results will require some effort, according to a PCMag review .
