This Eero Max Mesh Wi-Fi System Is $350 Off During Prime Day in October.
Ahead of Amazon’s October 2026 Prime Day sale, the Eero Max 7 dual-router bundle has dropped from $1,149.99 to $799.99, a $350 discount and, according to price-tracking sites , the lowest price ever. It’s still a hefty price tag for a router system , but the Max 7 sits at the top of the Eero lineup and has earned an Editor’s Choice award and an “Excellent” rating from PCMag for its combination of speed and ease of use. These are tri-band Wi-Fi 7 modules with a BE20800 rating and ten antennas each. Each module covers up to 2,500 square feet and supports over 250 connected devices (according to the manufacturer), so a set of two modules provides sufficient range for 5,000 square feet under ideal conditions, which should be sufficient for most homes. The Max 7’s wired connectivity is also ample for a mesh system: 10GbE and 2.5GbE ports provide three LAN connections on the router and four on the node. This means a desktop computer, gaming console, and NAS can all operate over a wired connection, while leaving room for a wired backbone between the modules. This is the best solution for boosting mesh system performance if you have Ethernet connections in your walls.
In addition to managing your Wi-Fi network, this system can also act as a smart home control hub, supporting Thread, Matter, and Zigbee, so compatible smart bulbs, sensors, and other devices can connect without the need for a separate bridge. However, there’s no USB port, so connecting a storage device for network sharing isn’t possible. More importantly, as PCMag’s review notes , parental controls and network security tools are only available with a paid subscription ( eero Plus , starting at $9.99 per month), meaning you’ll continue to incur costs even after you’ve paid for the hardware. Furthermore, Wi-Fi 7 is only worth it if your devices support it.
