The IPhone 18 Pro Series Shows Significant Improvements in Battery Life.

While the iPhone 18 Pro looks similar to last year’s model, its internal components are a completely different story. The new A20 Pro processor with 32 Neural Engine cores will significantly improve the device’s AI capabilities, but you may not always notice the differences.
However, new improvements to battery life and charging will truly make a significant difference to the everyday use of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Apple promises the best battery life of any iPhone and finally supports faster wired charging.
According to Apple, the standard-sized iPhone 18 Pro will have the same battery life as the previous, larger iPhone 17 Pro Max model, which is quite a significant achievement. Apple combines the improved power efficiency of the A20 Pro chip with new battery technologies to deliver this significant leap in battery life.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max offers 45 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 18 Pro model offers 36 hours. The iPhone 18 Pro offers 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, while the 18 Pro Max offers up to 30 hours.
According to Apple, this is based on tests conducted using a 40W Apple Dynamic Power Adapter with a maximum charging speed of 60W. Wired fast charging is also supported using 60W USB-C cables and USB PD 3.1 adapters that support regulated charging voltage.
Finally, the iPhone has faster wired charging.
The world of flagship Android smartphones is full of fast-charging devices, and some of that power is now coming to the iPhone. A quick five-minute wired charge will provide up to six hours of video playback, and even more importantly, you’ll get a 50% charge in just 15 minutes. Even wireless charging is even faster: a 50% charge lasts for about 30 minutes.
