These Airports Now Offer Onsite COVID Testing

Traveling by air during the holiday season can be stressful, so if you have the option to fly from or through several different airports, you might want to consider their amenities before booking your flight. In any other year, this could involve checking the availability of lounges or checking restaurants in your terminal. But now is 2020, and it’s not about comfort, it’s about survival.

When planning a vacation trip, the COVID-19 pandemic is probably the main one. And while some airlines have implemented testing policies, this is not an industry standard yet. Now, some airports – both in the United States and other parts of the world – are offering on-site COVID-19 testing. Here are the airports that have these 2020 amenities from an article in Travel + Leisure .

As all the holidays approach, there may be additional airports offering on-site COVID-19 testing at the end of the year. And of course, if you can skip flights (and holiday gatherings in general), this is the safest option during a pandemic. If not, then it’s better to get tested.
