New to Prime Day? We’ve prepared a comprehensive guide for you, covering everything you need to know . Discount information is current at the time of publication, but prices and availability are subject to change.
While Prime Day is synonymous with Amazon , that doesn’t stop other brands from capitalizing on the shopping season’s excitement. VPN platforms, which typically operate on a subscription basis and aren’t available through third-party online stores, are no exception.
From June 23rd to 26th this year, VPN providers like ExpressVPN, Norton, and Surfshark are offering discounts of up to 80% on long-term subscriptions for new users, with many offering a full refund. For a two-year subscription, this represents a significant discount of several hundred dollars. I’ve reviewed the pros and cons of each provider’s offer, what’s included, what’s not, and what to look out for in the fine print.
NordVPN Complete subscription price dropped to $4.49 per month.
With a two-year subscription to NordVPN Complete, you get 75% off the standard price, which is $4.49 per month—or $121.23 upfront for 27 months. (NordVPN also offers three additional months with a two-year subscription.)
Keep in mind that after the trial period ends, you’ll pay $219.48 per year for NordVPN Complete, which is a significant increase. However, Complete sits right in the middle of NordVPN’s three pricing plans and, in my opinion, offers the best value for money. In addition to the VPN, you also get access to the Dark Web Monitor, an ad blocker, a password manager, and 1 TB of encrypted cloud storage.
NordVPN also has a cheaper basic plan, available for $3.49 per month, a 69% discount if you prefer to use the VPN without the additional features. NordVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, and you can use the subscription on up to 10 devices simultaneously.
The Surfshark One subscription offers the biggest discount and costs $2.79 per month.
For just $2.79 per month , Surfshark’s One plan offers a two-year VPN subscription with three additional months free. Based solely on price, Surfshark has the lowest price and biggest discount of all the VPN providers on this list.
Surfshark is one of the few VPN companies that allows unlimited device connections to its VPN plan, rather than limiting you to five to fourteen devices simultaneously. Furthermore, Surfshark One includes antivirus software, a data leak alert tool, a privacy-focused search engine, and identity theft protection for all US users. Surfshark also offers a similar 30-day money-back guarantee, but unfortunately, it has fewer servers than Nord and ExpressVPN.
ExpressVPN Advanced is on sale for 82% off (with some caveats).
ExpressVPN’s Advanced plan typically costs around $475.72 for a two-year subscription, but as part of a promotion timed to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the price is reduced to $83.72, or $2.99 per month. Subscribers who sign up now will also benefit from reduced renewal prices—$119.95 every two years—so you won’t face a steep price increase upon renewal.
In addition to VPN protection, you also get ad, tracker, and malware blocking for your web browser. The extended plan also includes 100 personal email addresses, a password manager, and even a small eSIM plan. However, please note that users who subscribe through this promotional offer will not receive the standard 30-day money-back guarantee, so only subscribe if you are confident in its effectiveness.
Proton VPN’s Plus plan is available at a 70% discount.
ProtonVPN is open-source software that has been independently audited and complies with Swiss data protection regulations, which certainly helps support their privacy-first claims. Developed by the company that owns Proton Mail, ProtonVPN offers a two-year Plus plan, providing access to over 20,000 servers in 140 countries. This plan is currently available at a 70% discount off the regular price—just $2.99 per month instead of the usual $9.99. Furthermore, the renewal price remains the same—$83.88 every twelve months instead of the usual $119.88.
With this subscription, you can connect to Proton VPN from up to 10 devices. There’s also a standard 30-day money-back guarantee if you’re not satisfied with the service.
Norton VPN offers only a 54% discount, but still has a high trust rating.
Compared to Surfshark or ExpressVPN, Norton offers a much less compelling 54% discount on an annual Plus subscription with no additional months added upon initial purchase. That’s roughly $4.17 per month, or $49.99 for the first year, and $109.99 per year upon renewal.
While Norton’s offering may not be as attractive as others, it combines reliable antivirus, free dark web monitoring, and a secure password manager. Its downsides include limited VPN access on five devices, and access to 10 devices with parental controls requires upgrading to the Ultimate plan. However, Norton is the only VPN provider on this list to offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. The others (except ExpressVPN) offer a standard 30-day guarantee. If you don’t want to be locked into a VPN service you might not like, it’s the safest choice for long-term evaluation.
