The Suunto Run is one of my favorite budget running watches. You can read my review of it, but here’s a quick overview: it has dual-band GPS, music storage, and other features that competing brands (like Garmin) don’t offer unless you spend at least $100 more.
As part of the Amazon Prime Day sale, the Suunto Run watch is on sale, along with many other Suunto models. This underrated brand is definitely worth considering if you enjoy running, hiking, mountaineering, and other outdoor activities.

The Suunto Core is a standalone watch, so it doesn’t have GPS. It also doesn’t track heart rate, but it does include a compass, altimeter, and barometer. The battery lasts for a year. It’s more of a watch than a smartwatch , but if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s a good choice.

The Suunto Vertical Titanium Solar is an adventure watch with a durable titanium case and sapphire crystal glass. It also features offline maps and supports solar charging, but this means it has a MIP display rather than the brighter AMOLED you might be used to . (There is a newer model, the Vertical 2, with an AMOLED display, but it is no longer available.)
