New to Prime Day? We’ve prepared a comprehensive guide for you, covering everything you need to know . Discount information is current at the time of publication, but prices and availability are subject to change.
Prime Day offers discounts on tablets across a wide range of price points, from budget-friendly models for streaming video and reading to premium devices capable of replacing a laptop. Prices start at $104.99 for the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 512GB is almost $400 off. I’ve also noted whether the package includes a stylus, case, or keyboard, as these extras can significantly impact the actual price.
These Samsung tablets are available with discounts of up to 46%.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 (512GB) : At $807.49 instead of $1,199.99, Samsung’s latest flagship tablet is nearly $400 cheaper and much easier to recommend than at full price. The 11-inch screen provides plenty of space for working and streaming video without making the tablet unwieldy, and DeX creates a more laptop-like configuration for multitasking. Samsung also includes the S Pen stylus in the box instead of selling it separately. PCMag rated the Tab S11 ” Excellent ,” and for Android users who want a premium, full-featured tablet without the bulk of the Ultra model, this is the one.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ (13.1-inch, 256GB) : At $554 instead of $819.99, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ offers a large Android tablet for well under $600. Its 13.1-inch display is great for streaming video, using Samsung DeX, and taking handwritten notes. Incidentally, Samsung includes the S Pen stylus at no extra cost, unlike many competitors. PCMag’s in-depth review offers a closer look at its performance and features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ : At $160.55 (down from $299.99), the Galaxy Tab A11+ is an affordable entry-level option in Samsung’s tablet lineup. It’s best suited for streaming video, reading, light web browsing, and entertaining kids rather than demanding creative work, but its 11-inch screen and expandable storage give it more flexibility than most tablets in this price range. It doesn’t support the S Pen stylus, though at 46% off, that’s a more acceptable tradeoff.
These iPads are discounted up to $100.
Apple iPad Air (M4, 128GB) : The 2026 11-inch iPad Air with the M4 processor and 128GB of storage is on sale for $519.99, down from $599. The Wi-Fi and cellular version is also discounted , now just $669, down from $749. This is an ideal choice if the base model isn’t enough, but the iPad Pro’s OLED display and higher price aren’t essential. Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard are sold separately.
Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro, 128GB) : Priced at $399.99 (down from $499), the iPad mini A17 Pro is Apple’s most feature-packed compact tablet to date. It uses the same chip as the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and packs into an 8.3-inch design that fits in a jacket pocket. It’s perfect for reading, annotating PDFs, drawing, or getting the full iPad experience in its most compact form factor. It also supports the Apple Pencil Pro, though the stylus is sold separately.
These products from Amazon, Lenovo and Microsoft are discounted up to 42%.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Tablet (64GB) : Ideal for children ages three to seven, this kids’ tablet from Amazon has been reduced from $179.99 to $104.99. It comes with a protective case, a two-year warranty covering replacement if broken, a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+, and advanced parental controls . A practical choice for parents who want a reliable and secure device for their children, rather than an adult tablet they’ll inherit.
Lenovo Idea Tab Plus : At $229.99 (down from $279), the Lenovo Idea Tab Plus is an affordable Android tablet for web browsing , video streaming, reading, handwritten notes, and everyday productivity. Lenovo also includes a Tab Pen stylus and a flip cover, making the slight discount more valuable than it seems and keeping the overall price significantly lower than comparable tablets from Samsung and Apple.
Microsoft Surface Pro : Exclusive to Amazon, Microsoft’s 2024 Surface Pro is now priced at $869.99, down from $1,004.54. It features a 13-inch OLED touchscreen, a Snapdragon X Elite processor, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, making it the closest thing to a full-fledged Windows laptop in a detachable tablet form factor. For those who truly need a portable Windows computer, not just a media tablet, this is the perfect deal.
