Prime Day is here, and the five-pack of Blink Outdoor 4 cameras with the Sync Module Core is currently on sale on Amazon for $104.99, down from the regular price of $299.99—the lowest recorded price, according to price tracking sites . That’s about $21 per camera, making it one of the cheapest ways to cover multiple areas around your home.
PCMag rated the Blink Outdoor 4 ” Excellent ,” and our own reviewer deemed it a reliable option for those looking for a simple and affordable security system without wires or complicated installation. The cameras record video in 1080p and offer a wide 143-degree viewing angle, meaning the video quality is clear enough for everyday home monitoring, and a single camera covers a large area. Infrared night vision automatically activates after sunset, and built-in two-way audio allows you to communicate with visitors through the Blink app. You’ll also receive motion alerts directly to your phone when activity is detected, and Alexa integration makes it easy to view live streams on supported smart displays and Fire TV.
The included Core Sync Module serves as the hub of the system, connecting the cameras to your home network and extending battery life with low-power connectivity. It can control up to 10 Blink devices simultaneously, which is useful if you plan to expand the system in the future. Unlike the Blink Sync Module 2 and Sync Module XR, the Core model does not support local storage (via a microSD card ) or video backup. After the 30-day trial, extended video history and other advanced features (including person detection) require a paid plan , which starts at $40 per year for one device or $120 per year for unlimited cameras. The system also does not support Google Assistant or Apple HomeKit. However, for those looking to cover multiple areas on a relatively modest budget, this kit provides significantly greater coverage than most camera offerings in the same price range.
