New to Prime Day? We’ve prepared a detailed guide for you covering everything you need to know . Discount information is current at the time of publication, but prices and availability are subject to change.
Prime Day is here, and deals and discounts are already running, including this Blink bundle with a video doorbell, Outdoor 4 camera, and Sync Module Core for just $27.99. That’s down from $139.98, and according to price tracking sites , it’s the lowest price ever. For apartments, townhouses, or small homes, this is a practical solution—the doorbell can monitor the entryway, while the included Outdoor 4 camera can monitor a second entrance, driveway, backyard gate, or any other area you want to keep an eye on. Amazon is also selling the Blink video doorbell and Sync Module Core separately for $23.99, down from $59.99, though paying an extra four dollars for the extra security camera seems like a more reasonable option.
Both devices are completely wireless and powered by AA lithium batteries, which Blink claims last up to two years depending on usage. The video quality is clear enough for everyday surveillance, whether checking for presence at the front door or monitoring a side entrance. Both devices also feature night vision, motion alerts, and two-way audio, allowing you to see and speak with visitors directly from the Blink app. The included Core sync module acts as a central hub, connecting all devices and allowing for future expansion with additional Blink devices—it can support up to 10 cameras and doorbells in a single configuration.
The biggest drawback is data storage. Unlike some other Blink sync modules, the Core model doesn’t support local storage, so viewing recorded videos after the trial period requires a Blink subscription . Features like person detection and expanded video history are also available only for an additional fee: plans start at $40 per year for one device or $120 per year for unlimited devices. Furthermore, while the system works well with Amazon Alexa, Echo Show displays, and Fire TV devices, it lacks support for Google Home and Apple HomeKit. However, for under $30, it’s hard to find another security kit that covers two locations and leaves room for future expansion.
