Prime Day’s best deals on smart glasses with displays

The XReal One Pro glasses are my favorite display-style glasses . They’re essentially a high-resolution monitor that fits in your pocket and sits on your face, but unlike many display-style glasses, they have an integrated X1 processor, which tracks head movements and allows you to “anchor” the screen in virtual space—essentially a small dose of augmented reality. They’re perfect for gaming and flying, and you could even try wearing them all day if you dare . The price has always been a drawback, but it’s somewhat offset by a $100 discount during Prime Day; the glasses’ regular price of $649 is now down to $549.

RayNeo is gaining popularity with affordable smartglasses like the RayNeo Air 4 —a reliable model with a good display at a low price. They lack some features of more expensive models like the aforementioned XReals, but the display is actually quite good , and they cost about half as much. If you need glasses for long flights or for watching TV while someone sleeps next to you, these glasses will do the job perfectly. They’re on sale for 20% off during Prime Day, priced at $255. Plus, they’re emblazoned with the official bat symbol, making them a cool addition.

The Rokid Max2 augmented reality glasses stand out from other glasses with displays thanks to their built-in prescription, one in each lens, allowing you to correct myopia with the turn of a dial. While this is great in theory, its effectiveness depends on your prescription . However, once you’ve adjusted your prescription, these glasses will project a 215-inch virtual cinema screen using Sony Micro-OLED technology. Currently priced at $299 during Prime Day (a 43% discount off the $529 MSRP), they’re a great buy.

Prime Day’s best deals on smart glasses with audio interfaces

I haven’t tried these official Amazon Carrera smart glasses , but they’re such a great value that they’re worth checking out. The regular price is $389.99, but Amazon has slashed the price by 74% to $99.99. Carrera is a respected Italian eyewear company that has been making high-quality, fashionable sunglasses and racing goggles since 1956, so these glasses would be a good buy even if they didn’t have audio, AI integration, or Alexa control. They’re essentially just a redesigned version of the 3rd-generation Amazon Echo Frames smart glasses—and that’s not a bad thing.

Meanwhile, these OHO Audio Glasses are on sale, down from $44 to $9.49. For $10, glasses that can be used for listening to audio, making phone calls, and protecting your eyes from the sun are a great buy, especially if you like the look. I can’t vouch for the quality of these glasses, but if you’re looking for affordable, waterproof sunglasses for listening to podcasts while running or cycling, give these a try; the risk is minimal.

Prime Day’s best deals on smart glasses with cameras

As for smart glasses with cameras, which are on sale during Prime Day, there’s not much to recommend them. The largest player in this market, Meta, isn’t lowering prices on its Ray-Ban or Oakley glasses, leaving room for bargains on one manufacturer I’ve heard of—and literally hundreds I haven’t.

As part of Prime Day , the Rokid AI glasses are down to $249 (a $100 discount off the standard MSRP), and they’re an interesting alternative to the Ray-Ban Meta. I haven’t used them yet, but the specs and user reviews suggest the Rokid AI glasses are a viable alternative to the Meta. Unlike options tied to a single assistant, the Rokid glasses feature a platform-independent voice system powered by ChatGPT-5 and Google Gemini. They’re also lightweight. The frame weighs 38.5 grams, despite having an open earpiece and a 12-megapixel Sony camera. Among the downsides, some users in the Amazon comments point out the camera being difficult to frame, being offset to the left, the sound being hollow, and the plastic frame.

As for other camera glasses, Amazon sells hundreds of “AI-powered camera glasses” from brands like Plunthorn , Warchody, and BooaBei . Some cost $150 , others $50. They all typically feature low-quality 8-megapixel cameras and AI that’s essentially accessed through your phone. I’d recommend Rokid.
