WWDC 2026 Live Stream: IOS 27 Announcements, AI-Powered Siri, Apple Intelligence, and More.

WWDC 2026 is less than 24 hours away. On Monday, June 8, Apple will kick off its weeklong developer conference with its celebrated WWDC keynote. If you’ve watched these events before, you already know what to expect: announcements regarding the next generation of Apple software, including iOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, and much more.
But this year, things are a little different. Yes, Apple will almost certainly announce these updates to its products. But for the first time since 2024 , the focus will be on artificial intelligence , specifically major updates to Apple’s Siri—powered by AI, of course. The company first announced the new Siri two years ago, touting it as part of iOS 18, but repeatedly delayed the assistant’s launch due to internal issues . Now, AI-powered Siri is finally ready to take center stage—if rumors are to be believed. Apple is also expected to introduce a number of new AI features, including AI-powered photo editing tools, AI-generated wallpapers, and the ability to ask Apple Intelligence to create shortcuts for you. This represents a redemption of sorts for a company that has been criticized for lagging in the AI race.
However, Apple hasn’t announced anything significant yet, so everything above is based solely on leaks and rumors. We’ll have to wait for Apple’s keynote to find out exactly what the company is planning. In the meantime, below you’ll find Lifehacker’s WWDC 2026 blog. I’ll be posting around the clock, updating the page with Apple news as it happens. Leading up to the event, I’ll be sharing rumors and speculation about what Apple might announce during the keynote. Once WWDC officially begins at 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET), I’ll be sharing live updates from the show.
