How to Watch WWDC 2026 Live

If you’re an Apple fan, you’re treated to two major events each year. The first, in 2026, is just around the corner. In just over a week, Apple will take to the virtual stage to announce a host of new features and services for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and other devices— especially AI-related updates . Don’t expect any new products , but if you enjoy software updates, WWDC is for you.

Anyone who enjoys speculating and predicting what Apple might announce at its events is in luck: Lifehacker, along with other CNET Group sites, is hosting the “Big Guessing Game.” You can participate in any of the games on each site for a chance to win a new Apple Watch. The guessing game will consist of three rounds, and we’re currently in the first. Good luck!

What is WWDC?

WWDC is Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference. While the event is often associated with Apple’s main keynote, it’s actually a weeklong gathering for developers, where they can gather, work on projects, and learn about developing apps for Apple platforms. Beyond the keynote itself, which we all watch on our computers, there’s the “State of the Platforms” event, group labs, and over 100 developer sessions. For everyone else, WWDC is just one main keynote, where Apple unveils the next generation of software updates. This year, it’s likely the “27 era,” which includes iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27. (That’s a lot of operating systems.)
