This Highly Rated Sonos Soundbar Is Now $200 Off.

The Sonos Arc Ultra is slashed to $899 on Amazon from its regular price of $1,099, a significant discount for one of Sonos’s flagship models. PCMag named it the best soundbar of 2024 , and their “outstanding” rating easily explains why: this device delivers everything a soundbar should. It’s a large soundbar, nearly 47 inches wide, so it’s worth checking the dimensions of your TV stand before purchasing. You can place it on furniture or mount it on a wall, but either way, it’s not a speaker you’ll be able to easily move once installed.
Compared to the original Arc, the Ultra offers a much more ambitious 9.1.4-channel configuration, creating a more powerful and rich Dolby Atmos experience with a stronger bass presence. The Sonos SoundMotion driver handles much of the work, helping the Arc Ultra deliver surprisingly powerful bass without the need for a separate subwoofer—some reviews even compared its standalone performance to the regular Arc paired with a Sub Mini, which is saying something considering this setup costs significantly more. Dialogue is also clearer, especially at low volumes, so you won’t have to constantly fumble for subtitles or skip scenes in movies and TV shows because someone muttered an important line. This is an underrated quality-of-life improvement for a soundbar.
In terms of connectivity, the Arc Ultra covers almost everything most users will need, including HDMI eARC, Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet, AirPlay 2, and Bluetooth, which the original Arc lacked. Setup is handled through the Sonos app, where you can adjust EQ settings and run Trueplay room calibration to fine-tune the sound to your room layout. It can also serve as a flexible starting point for a larger home theater system (though in this regard, it only works well with Sonos’s own ecosystem). Additionally, while it supports Amazon Alexa and Sonos Voice Control, it doesn’t support Google Assistant or Siri, which is worth noting if your smart home system uses one of those platforms.
