You can choose from three T-Mobile plans: Essential, Experience More, and Experience Beyond, which start at $50, $85, and $100 per month, respectively. The latter two offer a free third line and are the only ones with unlimited data. These two plans also offer a five-year best price guarantee, so you can be sure prices won’t increase for the first few years.
To participate, you’ll need an unlocked phone, meaning it can’t be linked to another carrier with payments. If your phone is fully paid, you can contact your carrier to unlock it. You’ll keep your original number and won’t need to change it.
T-Mobile offers a contract-free process with no early termination fees, so if you’re comfortable with the switch yourself, you can always cancel your subscription and keep your $200. Keep in mind that it may take up to eight weeks for your $200 prepaid Mastercard to arrive at your door after the switch is complete. You can complete most of the switch process yourself using the T-Mobile app. It takes approximately 15 minutes.
