Google phones generally offer excellent value for money, especially considering their prices drop quickly after release. This is true for the latest Pixel model: the Google Pixel 10 (released last August) is now selling for $549 for the 128GB model (previously $799); the 256GB version is $649 (originally $899). According to price tracking tools , both of these prices are record lows.
The Google Pixel 10 is a mid-range smartphone, positioned below the Pixel 10 Pro (which is currently available at its lowest price and features a much faster chip ) and above the Pixel 10a. As noted in Lifehacker’s review , the Pixel 10 features a telephoto lens and Pixelsnap (Google’s MagSafe equivalent), as well as some new AI features . However, the ultra-wide-angle lens isn’t as good as the previous model’s , and the chip poses problems for some third-party apps in this regard (though this can be fixed ).
Otherwise, the Pixel 10 has many of the same features as the Pixel Pro but costs $200 less, making it a great budget option for those who don’t need all the fancy specs and features. It’s equipped with a Google Tensor G5 chip, and the camera resolutions are 48MP, 13MP, and 10.8MP on the rear, and 10.5MP on the front. Depending on usage, you can expect around 24 hours of battery life.
