T-Mobile Is Giving You a Free IPhone 17e Right Now, No Trade-in Required.
I’ve traditionally avoided locking my phone to a specific carrier, but all my principles were shattered when my local AT&T carrier offered me a free iPhone 17 Pro if I switched to them and traded in my beloved unlocked Pixel 9. It was too tempting to refuse. Now T-Mobile is offering a similar deal nationwide. Switch to them and get a free iPhone 17e, without having to trade in your old device. Or you can choose the iPhone 17 if you trade in an eligible device and choose a T-Mobile premium plan. Here are the details.
You have two options: the newly released affordable iPhone 17e or the standard iPhone 17 with a more impressive camera .
The iPhone 17e will be completely free with most T-Mobile plans (Experience Beyond, Experience More, or Essentials, if you’re a new subscriber). You can also be a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next subscriber and still be eligible for the phone. You’ll need to pay 24 months’ worth of billing before the phone is actually yours (if you cancel early, you’ll be charged a prorated amount). You’ll still be charged the $599.99 iPhone tax, and there’s a $35 line activation fee. And yes, you can keep your old phone number.
