The Apple Watch Ultra 2 Is on Sale for Nearly $200 Off During Amazon’s Spring Sale.
If you’re looking for an Apple Watch for extreme sports or simply want the largest display and longest battery life, the Ultra is worth considering. Apple has packed this watch with features and benefits, making it the best option for those who want to get the most out of their wearables. But these benefits come at a price: the latest Apple Watch Ultra 3 costs $799, making it one of the most expensive watches in the company’s lineup.
But you don’t have to spend as much on the Apple Watch Ultra as you would on the iPhone 17 to get many of these benefits. If you’re willing to upgrade a generation and forgo a few new features, you can save big, especially during sales and discounts. It just so happens that the “Premium Renewed” Apple Watch Ultra 2 is currently on sale on Amazon for $399.49 during the Spring Sale . According to Keepa, this is the lowest price on the site in at least three months.
The Apple Watch Ultra 2’s feature list is quite extensive. First, you get a 49mm display with up to 3000 nits of brightness. The heart rate monitor can track signs of hypertension, alert you to high or low heart rates, and report irregular heart rhythms. You can also use the Blood Oxygen app to monitor your SpO2 levels.
Like all Apple Watches, the Ultra 2 can track your sleep, including a nightly sleep quality assessment and alerts you to signs of sleep apnea. It tracks your vital signs, body temperature, and menstrual cycle (if applicable), and can connect to a cellular network with a paid data plan. This watch features the same Apple S9 chip as the Series 9, and supports double-tap gestures and a pinpoint feature in case the watch gets lost.
But since this is the Ultra 2, it has some unconventional features, such as water resistance to 100 meters and support for snorkeling, diving, and speed water sports. There’s a depth sensor up to 40 meters for diving, and the watch even has a siren in case you need to alert others of your location. However, it’s important to note that this is a “Premium Refurbished” item. According to Amazon, all “refurbished” items are fully functional and come with original or aftermarket accessories. To be considered “premium,” a refurbished item must have no visible cosmetic damage from a distance of 30 cm, no scratches on the screen, and a battery capacity of 90% or higher. I wouldn’t be surprised if these Apple Watch Ultra 2 models were simply opened rather than used, but before buying, keep in mind that someone else may have used the watch before.
