The Top 10 Movies Available Right Now, According to Streaming Services.

Traditionally, films released in theaters in January and February are problematic, to say the least. But in the world of streaming, it’s the opposite. Studios are eager to show their best material to as many viewers as possible ahead of the Oscars, resulting in a glut of prestigious films on streaming platforms—a veritable cinematic glut. Whether you prefer sci-fi films with original concepts, unusual auteur dramas, or awards-winning films, February’s streaming charts are excellent.
Here’s the complete list of the top 10 most popular movies of February 2026 across all major streaming services, compiled by JustWatch .
Predator: Badlands (2025)
The superb reboot of the Predator franchise continues with Predator: Badlands , a dynamic and gripping spectacle told from the perspective of the Predator itself. Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi stars as a young alien super-hunter, exiled from his tribe and banished to a lonely planet, where he meets Tia, played by Elle Fanning. This unlikely pair embarks on a quest to find their ultimate adversary. Watch Predator: Badlands on Hulu .
Bugonia (2025)
I love it when a weird film finds a wide audience, and “Bugonia” is exactly that. Jesse Plemons and Aidan Delbis play a pair of misfits who kidnap a powerful pharmaceutical executive (Emma Stone) because they think she’s an alien. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who made the excellent 2023 film “Poor Things,” which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture, it’s a must-see, even if you’re a little weird. (And if you’re looking for even more weirdness, the film is based on an even weirder South Korean film called “Save the Green Planet .”) Watch “Bugonia” on Peacock .
Blue Moon (2025)
The great Richard Linklater ( Dazed and Confused, Boyhood ) directs Ethan Hawke in a biopic about the final days of legendary songwriter Lorenz Hart. It’s 1943, and the musical Oklahoma! opens on Broadway. While Richard Rodgers celebrates his biggest hit with his new partner, Oscar Hammerstein, Hart drinks and pines for his muse, Elizabeth, played by Margaret Qualley. Ethan Hawke delivers a career-defining, Oscar-nominated performance in this funny and sad meditation on the nature and price of genius. Watch Blue Moon on Netflix .
If I had legs, I’d kick you (2025)
A24’s ongoing string of engaging and intelligent films continues with “If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You.” Director Mary Bronstein crafts a tense film about the toxic side of motherhood. Rose Byrne earned an Oscar nomination for her role as Linda, a frazzled mother caring for her chronically ill daughter while simultaneously experiencing her own nervous breakdown. It’s not exactly an uplifting film for general audiences, but it is an uncompromising, unforgettable experience. Watch “If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You” on HBO Max .
One Battle After Another (2025)
Paul Thomas Anderson’s subtle, intelligent thriller about resistance and race in a fascist, anti-immigration United States became an instant classic. Featuring superb performances from stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro, and Regina Hall, One Battle at a Time is a rare film that is both thoughtful and gripping. It was nominated for 13 Academy Awards. Watch One Battle at a Time on HBO Max.
Dream Dream Blue (2025)
I wouldn’t be interested in a movie about Neil Diamond, the singer of the hit “Sweet Caroline,” but I would love to see a movie about a Neil Diamond impersonator. “Song Sung Blue” tells the true story of Milwaukee couple Mike and Claire Sardina, who performed at state fairs as the Neil Diamond tribute duo Lightning & Thunder throughout the 1990s and even gained a strange semi-fame opening for bands like Urge Overkill and Pearl Jam. Kate Hudson was nominated for an Oscar for her role as Lightning, while Hugh Jackman was unfairly overlooked . Watch “Song Sung Blue” on Peacock .
Sinners (2025)
This unique film so skillfully blends a variety of styles that it has practically become a genre unto itself. A historical drama-musical-horror story with elements of romance and drama, exploring racial and historical prejudices in the United States, “The Sinners” tells its story through both song and vampire-involved violence. The film is absolutely top-notch in every cinematic aspect, which likely explains its record-breaking 16 Oscar nominations. Watch “The Sinners” on HBO Max and Prime Video .
The Running Man (2025)
Based on the 1982 novel by Stephen King (writing under the pseudonym Richard Bachman) and directed by Edgar Wright, The Running Man is a dystopian sci-fi action film set in a near-future where the most popular television show is a deadly reality show where contestants must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional killers. I hate to admit it, but I would love to watch that show, and you should definitely watch the movie. Watch The Running Man on MGM+ and Paramount+ .
Eternity (2025)
In this original romantic comedy, Elizabeth Olsen plays Joan, a recently deceased woman facing a crucial decision. She has one week in purgatory to choose who to spend eternity with: her first husband, Luke—a handsome and romantic man played by Callum Turner—or her second husband, Larry—a reliable, down-to-earth guy (Miles Teller). Watch Eternity on Apple TV+ .
Family rental housing (2025)
Brendan Fraser’s return is delightful. In “Rent a Family,” Fraser is perfectly cast as an American actor in Tokyo whose job is to play various roles in people’s lives. While this premise could have been the basis for a dystopian nightmare, director Hikari opts for a lighter, more subtle approach to exploring the fine line between acting and reality. Watch “Rent a Family” on Hulu .
