The Galaxy S26 series has officially been unveiled , though it hasn’t officially launched yet. Samsung announced the new smartphones at today’s Unpacked 2026 event , highlighting their improved processors (Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy), pro camera features, and new Galaxy AI capabilities .

It may be a relatively unnoticeable update, but an update is an update. If you’re looking for the fastest Galaxy devices on the market, the choice has shifted from the S25 to the S26.

When will Samsung release the Galaxy S26?

Although the entire S26 lineup is now available for pre-order, they’re not yet available for purchase. Samsung is making users wait a bit longer—two weeks, to be exact. Pre-orders begin today, February 25, and the devices will be available in stores starting March 11.

The latest smartphones from companies like Samsung typically sell out immediately after release, delaying delivery times beyond the official release date.
