PCMag rated it “excellent,” and given what it offers, that’s well-deserved. Its 6.7-inch AMOLED display is large, bright, and responsive, with smooth 120Hz scrolling and sufficient brightness for most settings, though glare can be a problem in direct sunlight.

It includes the full suite of Samsung Galaxy AI features, the same tools found in more expensive models . In practice, this means features like real-time translation, AI-powered photo editing, and text assistance. The battery also delivers solid performance, delivering 17 hours of video playback in PCMag’s tests. Charging is quite fast—45W wired, but there’s also wireless and reverse wireless charging (handy for headphones). Connectivity-wise, it supports 5G, as well as Wi-Fi 6 , Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC for contactless payments. You can use one physical SIM and one eSIM, or go all-digital with two eSIMs .

What do you think at the moment?

The camera setup is virtually identical to that of higher-end models: a 50-megapixel main sensor (with optical image stabilization), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom. Photos taken with the main lens are sharp, with Samsung’s typical slightly saturated colors, and the ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses are well-suited for social media, although fine detail is reportedly lost when zooming in or cropping. Sound through the stereo speakers is decent, but for the best audio, it’s best to use Bluetooth headphones or earbuds. There’s no headphone jack or microSD card slot, and storage is limited to 256GB—but for the price, that’s perfectly acceptable. If you want to be part of the Samsung ecosystem and try out the latest AI features without spending $800 or more, this is one of the best deals right now.
