The Best Early Black Friday Deals on Fitness Trackers, Watches, and Gear
Black Friday sales officially kick off on Friday, November 28, and run through Cyber Monday, December 1. Before they end, Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price tracking tools.

Black Friday sales are in full swing, and I’m keeping an eye on the prices. Nearly every major brand has already launched their Black Friday deals, including Peloton, Powerbeats, Garmin, Google (including Fitbit), Oura, Whoop, PowerBlock, Shokz, and NordicTrack, to name a few. Some items have seen their prices drop slightly since they were first included on this list, and I’ve highlighted them in bold .
To keep track of prices yourself, consider using these discount tracking tools , which will alert you when prices drop. They can also show price history when you find a good deal. (Our discount writer, Daniel Oropeza, who compiled this list, considers CamelCamelCamel one of the best. Personally, I like the Keepa browser plugin the best.)
Horizontal bars
Here’s an inexpensive and essential home gym item: the Idealforce Doorway Pull-Up Bar for $17.59 (was $25.99). This type fits most doorways and is secured with wedges rather than screws. The doorway should be standard width and have molding at the top, leaving space above the molding. If your home doesn’t have this option, try this basement gym joist pull-up bar for $33.91 (was $42.39).
Peloton equipment
Earlier this year, Peloton released new versions of its bikes and cross-training machines (Bike, Tread, and Row). We ‘ll tell you about the features of the new models —primarily the rotating touchscreens and updated electronics. The original (non-cross-training) models are not sold new, but they are available for lease or for rent on Peloton’s used marketplace . Here are the deals I see:

I loved the Powerbeats Pro 2 for their secure fit, noise-canceling feature for noisy gyms, and Transparency mode for road runs. (I didn’t like their unreliable heart rate tracking feature.) The Powerbeats Pro 2 typically retail for $249.99, but are now down to $199.95.
If you prefer over-ear headphones, the Beats Studio Pro will cost you $149.95 (previously $349.95).
Theragun
Theragun Massager Sale: The Theragun Mini is $168 instead of $219.99. The Therabody Relief is $109.99 instead of $159.99. The premium Theragun Pro Plus is $548.88 instead of $649.99.
Hydrow rowers
Our own Meredith Dietz loves Hydrow rowing machines , and two models are currently on sale. The Hydrow Origin is currently $1,645 (regular price is $2,195). The Hydrow Wave is $1,795 (regular price is $1,995).
Shokz headphones
I love my Shokz workout headphones, especially their open design when I’m running on roads or trails. The OpenRun Pro 2 , which our colleague Daniel Oropeza named the best bone conduction headphones , are on sale for $124.95 instead of $179.95. You can also get the simpler OpenRun model for $89.95 instead of $129.95, or the Openfit 2+ (which come in two pieces, not a set with a headband) for $159.95 instead of $199.95.
PowerBlock Adjustable Dumbbells
Adjustable dumbbells are a great way to start a home gym , but they can be expensive since they’re essentially a full set of dumbbells connected by thin, moving parts. PowerBlock is one company that’s successfully tackling this challenge, and several of their models are on sale for Black Friday:

WalkingPad
WalkingPad makes folding mini treadmills that are generally slightly better quality than cheaper alternatives. During Black Friday, you can get the WalkingPad C2 , which can run up to 3.7 mph, for $379.05 instead of $499. There’s also the WalkingPad R2 , which also supports running at up to 12.5 mph. It’s priced at $594 instead of $699.
Noxgear Tracer Vests
Running in the dark is much safer when you can see clearly and be seen, especially when running along roads. The Noxgear Tracer is one of the most visible vests on the market: instead of reflective elements, it features shoulder lights. The basic model costs $54.95 (previously $79.95), while the version with a chest light to illuminate the road ahead costs $79.95 (previously $114.95).
Rings of Oura
Standard Oura titanium-plated rings are $100 to $150 off:

Matte Black and Matte Silver – $299 (regular price $399)
Oura’s colored ceramic rings are currently off the market (?); they’re still priced at $499. The Oura 3 ring is on sale for less than the original price, but I don’t see any Black Friday deals; here’s the black Heritage ring for $214.08.
Groups of screaming
Whoop is an iconic, screenless wristband that tracks your workouts and recovery without looking like a watch. All three ( or rather, four ) Whoop subscription levels are now available:

Whoop One with an older 4.0 device : $129 (regular price: $149). This option is only available at Whoop.com.

Whoop One with 5.0 Device : $179 (regular price: $199). This option is not available on Whoop.com, but is available at retailers like Amazon and Best Buy.

Whoop Peak with 5.0 Device : $199 (regular price $239). If you’re overwhelmed by the variety of options, this one will be the best fit for most people.

Polar H10 Heart Rate Monitor
Polar chest heart rate monitors are among the best on the market, and the H10 is now $89.21, down from $104.95. Chest heart rate monitors are the most accurate way to measure heart rate , and heart rate monitors like the H10 can be paired with virtually any phone or fitness watch.
Polar also makes its own fitness watches, some of which are already available. I’d like to highlight one that looks like a decent entry-level option: the Polar Unite, priced at $136.43, up from $199.99.
Suunto Run sports watch
One of my favorite budget running watches is on sale: the Suunto Run , which I reviewed here and loved , is now on sale for just $199, down from $249. Several other Suunto watches are also discounted on Black Friday, including the Race S for $279 (regularly $349) and the Vertical for $339.15 (regularly $399).
Pixel Watch 4
The latest version of Google’s Pixel Watch is the Model 4, which I reviewed here . It typically retails for $349.99 to $499.99, depending on the size and whether it comes with cellular or non-cellular support. Currently, the Wi-Fi-only model is $50 off, while the LTE model is $100 off. This means you can get the LTE model for the same price as the Wi-Fi model.

Apple Watch Series 11
Last year, the Series 10 dropped to $329 on Black Friday. This year, the Series 11, the newest model, is available (read our tech editor Michelle Erhardt’s take here ). Here are the prices I’m seeing at the start of Black Friday:

Koros Pace 3
Coros doesn’t usually participate in major sales, but earlier this month the company released the Pace 4 for $249, which performed well in my review . This means the price of the Pace 3 has dropped, dropping from $229 to $199.
I really like the Pace 3 —a simple yet powerful running watch. The Pace Pro , the bigger version of the 3 and 4 with a larger screen and built-in maps, is also worth checking out. No other big-name watches offer maps in this price range, and the Pace Pro is now down from $349 to $299. Note that Coros seems to be dropping prices regularly , so this isn’t just a Black Friday sale.
Garmin Forerunner 55
The Garmin Forerunner 55 is the most basic running watch out there, and I have mixed feelings about it. It certainly doesn’t have many of the features found in other entry-level Garmin Forerunner models, like the 165. But it does its basic job of tracking runs very well, and I’ve always thought that if Garmin could get the price down to $99, I’d be praising it. However, they’ve never gone that low.
The original sticker price was $199.99, but it’s now often hovering around $169.99. It’s currently tied for the lowest price I’ve seen before: $149.99 . This watch isn’t getting any younger, and I imagine Garmin, if they’re smart, will consider lowering the price even further this Black Friday.
Garmin Forerunner 165
The Forerunner 165 is Garmin’s most comfortable entry-level watch. Our regular marathoner, Meredith Dietz, raves about the 165 Music . Its sister model, the 165 (same model, but without the offline music storage feature), made my list of the best budget running watches .
Since it’s available in two versions, pay attention to the differences. The music version typically costs $50 more. The version without music storage typically costs $249, while the version with it costs $299. I previously mentioned that I’d be keeping an eye out for another price drop to $199.99, like last year’s Black Friday. And here it is! The Forerunner 165 costs $199.99 , while the Forerunner 165 Music costs $249.99 .
Garmin Forerunner 265 and 965
If I’m confusing you with all these models, here’s a clarification that will help you figure it out. In any case, the 265 and 965 are still great watches, and I already wrote that you can count on a discount of over $100 on them this year. It looks like my wish came true: the 265 is now on sale for $299.99 (a $150 discount), and the 965 is for $449.99 (also a $150 discount).
Fitbit Charge 6
The Fitbit Charge 6 currently costs $99.95. It’s listed at $159.95, but it’s often sold for significantly less, and during major sales, the price sometimes drops to almost $100. That’s exactly what’s happening now—I haven’t seen it cheaper than this yet. The Charge 6 isn’t the best option, but it fulfills the requirements of a basic tracker that you don’t want to think about. If you just want to track your steps without having to worry about choosing a model, it’s a great choice.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 8
The Galaxy Watch 8 line is now available. Like the Apple and Pixel watches, it’s available in several sizes and connectivity options. An updated “Classic” model with a rotating bezel is also available. Current prices:

When do Black Friday sales start?
Black Friday sales officially begin on Friday, November 28, 2025, and will run throughout Cyber Week—the five-day period from Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday, December 1, 2025. However, the dates of Black Friday and Cyber Monday have been shifted as retailers compete for shoppers. You can take advantage of the same Black Friday deals early in the season , and we expect the sale to end by December 3, 2025.
Which stores have the biggest discounts on Black Friday?
With both large retailers and small businesses competing for Black Friday shoppers, you can expect sales at virtually every store until Monday, December 1, 2025. The “best” discounts depend on your needs, but in general, the biggest discounts tend to be offered by large retailers that can afford lower prices, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Home Depot. Are Black Friday deals worth it?
In short, yes, Black Friday still offers deals you rarely see the rest of the year. If you’re shopping or looking for gifts, now is the time to look for deals on essentials, especially tech , home goods , and fitness equipment .
