Children Can Chat With Santa Claus in Messenger Kids
Previously, the only option for a child to personally contact Santa in the run-up to Christmas was to send a handwritten letter to the North Pole or face-to-face at a local mall. But in 2020, even in the midst of a pandemic, kids have a variety of ways to virtually connect with the big man, including now viaFacebook Messenger Kids .
However, as we all know, the dude is very busy this time of year. Therefore, to help him, he asked his parents to take his place and chat for him right now. That is, you can add him as an approved contact for your child, but then you will be the only one who will send them messages on his behalf. As Facebook explains :
To start a conversation, parents can ask their children, “What are you most grateful for this year?” or share your favorite holiday tradition. To help continue the magic of the holiday, the Santa Claus chat thread will be open until January 6 for kids to say “thank you” and share photos of their favorite holiday memories.
To add Santa Claus to your child’s approved contact list, you canclick here or :
1. Go to the Messenger app and click on your child’s profile.
2. Click Kid Controls in Messenger and then Controls .
3. Click on ” Santa Experience ” and then ” Add Santa “.
Parents will not receive notifications when their child has sent a message to Santa so that they do not see the warning and suspect suspicion; you will need to manually check your messages periodically. And only the creator of the child’s account will be able to add Santa to their contacts and send messages on behalf of him.
Santa will be automatically removed from your child’s contact list after January 6, but you can manually remove him at any time before that. If you do, it will remove the chat from Messenger for both accounts.
