The iPad Air is the best iPad for most people. It features an 11-inch display, Touch ID, an M3 chip, and enough RAM for even pro-level performance, as well as the new seamless window switching features introduced in iPadOS 16. During Prime Day, the 11-inch iPad Air with 128GB of storage is just $449, $150 off the regular price. This is the lowest price I’ve seen and matches the discount from the previous Prime Day sale.

The device features an 11-inch Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness and a resolution of 2360×1640. The smartphone is powered by last year’s M3 chip, which still offers high performance: an 8-core CPU, a 9-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It also features 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

The iPad Air is compatible with both the USB-C Apple Pencil and the Apple Pencil Pro, which offer additional features such as tap-to-select, spin-tip rotation, haptic feedback, and more. In its expert review, PCMag awarded the iPad Air M3 a 4-star rating and an Editor’s Choice award , noting, “The iPad Air remains the best choice for students and creatives who need a powerful tablet at a reasonable price.”

If you’re looking for a smaller iPad, consider the iPad mini, which is currently discounted to $120 —the lowest price I’ve ever seen for such a compact and portable tablet. The regular iPad , on the other hand, is also discounted to $279.
