If you knew me personally, you’d probably never guess that I have a favorite vacuum. There’s nothing about me that suggests I spend too much time choosing cleaning products. But the fact that I clean less often than I should is precisely why I have a favorite vacuum: I may not clean often enough, but when I do, I need a vacuum that works. And in my tiny Manhattan apartment, I have room for not one, but two Bissell vacuums. (One for what I call “the horrors,” and one for general cleaning.) No matter your lifestyle, you might be considering a new vacuum, too, and these Bissell models are on sale for Prime Day.

My favorite Bissell CrossWave is sold for almost 50 times less.

I adore my CrossWave OmniForce , which I rave about so much . It’s both a vacuum and a mop, making it suitable for use on both hard and soft floors. The cleaning solution is dispensed into a dispenser, the brush distributes it, and the vacuum sucks it back into a separate compartment. It’s perfect for both those who strive for perfect cleanliness (perhaps you) and those who are desperately lazy (I certainly am).

Regularly priced at $380, it’s currently on sale for just $199. It comes with a charging station (which makes a delightful chime every time you place the vacuum on it) and two bottles of cleaning solution. It’s worth buying, but a word of advice: always empty the dirty solution immediately after use. Leaving it in the container will quickly develop an unpleasant odor, something I’m certainly guilty of.

Other CrossWave models are also available, including the CrossWave Turbo —a slightly less powerful model that performs essentially the same functions as the OmniForce and is 43% off, down to $130. The CrossWave HydroSteam , which also steams carpets and floors, is also available, priced at $270 instead of $320.

I’m sad to report that the second vacuum I use (the one designed for cleaning horrors) isn’t on sale for Prime Day, but it doesn’t need to be: The Bissell Featherweight , a small but powerful stick vacuum that converts to a handheld dust collector and has several useful attachments, is only $33.

If you’re looking for a more powerful vacuum, consider the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder , which is marked down from $230 to $130. Bissell’s compact Little Green carpet and upholstery cleaner is also marked down from $95 to $75.
