Rowing is trending . And for good reason: rowing is a complete, low-impact workout that engages up to 86% of your muscles, harmoniously combining cardio and strength training, and is incredibly gentle on your joints. After months of testing the new Hydrow Arc rowing machine, which I thoroughly reviewed , I trust the Hydrow brand. The Hydrow Origin rowing machine is currently available on Amazon for $1,645 as part of Prime Day in October, a 25% discount off its original price of $2,195.

As you might have guessed from the name, the Hydrow Origin is the company’s original model. However, “original” doesn’t mean “basic.” This model still has a 22-inch screen and a wealth of streaming content. I believe it’s these instructional videos and varied workouts that make the Hydrow so valuable (just like Peloton—it’s about more than just bikes).
