New to Prime Day? We’ve got everything you need to get started . Sales information is accurate at the time of publication, but prices and stock levels are subject to change.
Amazon Prime Day in October is a great time to consider upgrading your phone to a new model. I see discounts on many well-known smartphone brands, and after over a decade of reviewing phones , these are the models I’ve chosen.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7
Samsung’s latest and greatest foldable smartphone only launched in July, but that didn’t stop Amazon from slashing the price of the 256GB model by 23%βit’s now $849.99 from $1,099.99, and available in three colors. Up to 512GB, the price goes up to $919.99, but the discount is also bigger (25%).
According to price trackers, this is the lowest price ever for this phone, and you won’t find a foldable display from Google or Apple. The smartphone boasts a 6.9-inch main display, a 4.1-inch cover screen, a dual rear camera, and a Samsung Exynos 2500 processor.
Google Pixel 10
Speaking of newly released Android smartphones, which are currently selling at their lowest price yet, the Google Pixel 10 is worth mentioning. The 128GB version is now $649, down from $799. The 256GB model is now $749, down from $899, a 17% reduction, so choose based on your budget and storage needs.
Google has introduced a number of innovations into the new Pixel 10. It features an updated triple rear camera with a 5x telephoto lens, a brighter screen (though its 6.3-inch diagonal remains the same as the Pixel 9), and a larger battery. The smartphone also supports Gemini AI.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
If you prefer Samsung-style Android, the 512GB version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is a whopping 27% off its original price. This flagship will now set you back $1,029.98 instead of $1,419.99 in either the White Silver or Silver Blue color options. That’s the lowest price we’ve seen to date.
As our Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra review shows, it’s a truly powerful smartphone that sets the tone for Samsung’s flagships this year. It features a quad-camera setup, a super-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and, of course, a built-in S Pen stylus for even more functionality.
Google Pixel 9a
Perhaps you don’t need the power of the Pixel 10 or don’t have the budget for it, in which case the Google Pixel 9a might be perfect for you. This capable mid-range smartphone is now just $349, while the 128GB version costs $499.
The Pixel 9a is powered by the same Google Tensor G4 processor as the flagship Pixel 9, so it’s no slouch. You also get 8GB of RAM, a dual rear camera, and all the latest Gemini AI capabilities. If you prefer the 256GB version of the Pixel 9a, it’s now $449 instead of $599, a 25% discount.
OnePlus 13
We’re expecting the OnePlus 15 to launch soon, but that doesn’t mean you should ignore this hefty discount on the OnePlus 13. Despite its model number, it was released just last year and remains one of the most advanced and powerful Android smartphones, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
The OnePlus 13 with 512GB of storage is currently $150 off its regular price, a significant savings: as part of the Prime Day sale, it’s now $849.99 instead of $999.99. If you don’t need as much storage, the 256GB version is $749.99 instead of $899.99, a 17% discount.
