AirPods 4 Are on Sale at Their Lowest Price yet on Prime Day.

Apple’s open-back headphones are a more comfortable alternative to the AirPods Pro, and they’re also much cheaper. And now, with the release of AirPods 4, Apple has even introduced active noise cancellation, as well as premium audio features previously only available in the AirPods Pro.

Right now, you can get both versions of the AirPods 4 at their lowest prices yet, matching the prices achieved during the Amazon Prime Day sale in July 2025. The base AirPods 4 are on sale for $89 (was $129), while the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation are on sale for $119 (was $179).

AirPods 4 feature shorter ear tips than their predecessors and a smaller case, but retain the same iconic open-back design. The ear tips now fit better in your ears, eliminating the need for silicone tips like those found on the AirPods Pro.

AirPods 4 are equipped with the same H2 chip as the premium AirPods Pro 2, delivering the same level of audio processing and features like voice isolation, conversation recognition, and personalized spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. However, the model with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) features a slightly less powerful version of noise cancellation (thanks to the lack of silicone eartips). AirPods 4 with ANC support Apple’s Transparency mode, which adjusts sound intensity so it’s not too loud, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings.

The case features USB-C charging, and AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation are also compatible with Qi charging and MagSafe, plus they have a built-in speaker for Find My tracking.

AirPods 4 last five hours on a single charge, and the case adds up to 30 hours of listening time. Active noise cancellation mode lasts four hours. A quick five-minute charge adds about an hour of listening time.

AirPods 4 are a great choice for those looking for active noise-canceling headphones at an affordable price, and for those who don’t like silicone ear tips. PCMag magazine awarded the AirPods 4 with active noise-canceling four out of five stars and an Editor’s Choice award . According to PCMag, “AirPods 4 do what no other open-back headphone has yet achieved: high-quality active noise cancellation. They also deliver excellent sound quality.”

And if you don’t need active noise cancellation, you can save even more. The basic AirPods 4, at $90, are one of the best deals on the gadget market.
