New to Prime Day? We’ve got everything you need to get started . Sales information is accurate at the time of publication, but prices and availability are subject to change.
If you’re like me and your house is littered with old, dull, and perhaps, for some unknown reason, sticky scissors, I’m about to change your life by suggesting you invest in cordless electric scissors like these . Not only does this tool significantly simplify all basic cutting tasks, requiring less effort, but it also allows you to use it in places you’d never consider using your old, clunky ones.
For example, since I bought these scissors, I haven’t cut my hand even once on the sharp plastic object wrapped around my new purchase. Instead of scratching the plastic, these scissors glide over it like butter. And that’s just one of the ways I regularly use them—I also use them to:
-
Cut up cardboard boxes for recycling
-
Cut fabric to reupholster the chairs (which our cats like to get dirty on a regular basis)
-
Cutting plastic straps from heavy loads
-
Trim protective film (plastic or fabric) to fit small work spaces.
-
I’m reducing the size of the rubber mat for my wife’s exercise bike.
-
Cut the zip ties (which I use to tie everything together)
I haven’t used them to cut carpet or thick plastic, but I’m sure they’ll handle both with ease, so I’ll be more than ready next time I need them. And the final bonus? No more cramping in your hands after cutting through a stack of cardboard or anything else thick and fiddly. They’re currently 32% off during Prime Day (about $15 off), and they’re worth every penny.
