I say this as someone who has been using a MacBook Air M1 as my main laptop for over two years. My only regret is that I couldn’t afford the 16GB RAM model when I bought it. Since my work involves installing numerous applications and sometimes running them simultaneously, the 8GB of RAM on my MacBook became a bottleneck. The MacBook Air M4 won’t have those issues: it has a significantly better processor and twice the RAM of my MacBook.

With the M4 MacBook Air, you get excellent performance, great battery life, and a thin and light laptop. The base model comes with 256GB of storage.
