Amazon isn’t the only big retailer with Labor Day deals. Best Buy is also getting in on the action, with deals on appliances, TVs, iPads, laptops, headphones, and more from big brands through September 1. I used price tracking tools to make sure these tech deals were legit, and I compiled a list of the best ones to make your shopping a little easier. Here are some of the best deals so far.
The Best MacBook for Most People
The 13-inch MacBook Air m4 with a 256GB SSD costs $799 (originally $999), and it’s probably the best option for most people. With 16GB of RAM, even the entry-level MacBook Air will keep you powering through demanding apps and projects now and for years to come. The laptop features a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display with a 2560 x 1664 resolution, P3 wide color gamut, and 500 nits of peak brightness. It also has a great backlit keyboard with Touch ID, Wi-Fi 6E support, and great speakers and microphones. Apple has also decided to bring back MagSafe charging to this laptop.
Smart TVs
OLED TVs offer the best picture quality money can buy, and surprisingly, the top-rated 2025 OLED TV is enjoying one of the best TV discounts during the Labor Day sale . According to a CNET review , the C5 delivers incredible brightness for an OLED TV — 1,400 nits in Vivid mode — as well as accurate color reproduction and glare reduction. You can pick up the LG Class Series C5 65-inch OLED TV for $1,496.99 (original price: $2,699.99) and see why it’s an incredible deal on OLED TVs .
OLED TVs under $1,000 are rare, especially ones released this year. LG’s 48-inch B5 Class OLED TV costs $699.99 (originally $1,299.99) and was released this summer. Yes, it’s an entry-level OLED TV, but it’s still an OLED TV with incredible contrast, color, processing, and gaming capabilities, making it a great option for those who don’t need a big TV.
If you don’t like your wall, get a 98-inch TV. The Samsung Class DU9000 98″ costs $1,899.99 (original price: $2,999.99), and among decent 98-inch TVs, this one is one of the best deals. It’s a 4K LED TV with Alexa built-in and Samsung’s own Tizen TV operating system.
Samsung The Frame smart TVs are designed for those who want a TV but don’t want it to dominate their home. The matte, anti-glare display turns your images into framed art. As the name suggests, the appeal of this TV is that it can also serve as a digital art frame, thanks to the anti-glare matte display and customizable bezel. The 55-inch LS03D The Frame TV is available for $899.99 (original price: $1,499.99).
Headphones
The Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds let you fully customize your sound with various equalizers and in-app personalization, but the sound is balanced and rich right out of the box. The earbuds also support the high-end LC3 and LDAC Bluetooth codecs. Their active noise cancellation (ANC) is excellent, but what’s special about them is that, unlike many other ANC earbuds, the sound quality doesn’t suffer when using ANC, as noted in PCMag’s “outstanding” review . They’re available now for $214.99 (originally $329.99).
If you’re looking for new active noise-canceling headphones but don’t want to spend a ton of money, check out the $199 WH-1000XM4 (originally $349.99). It’s not the latest version ( the XM6 ), but it’s still a great headphone that’s powerful enough for most people in 2025. You can read more about them in PCMag’s “outstanding” review .
Large household appliances
Best Buy has great deals on major appliances, with discounts of up to 50% and an extra 10% or 20% off on select models. If you’re in the market for a new refrigerator, the Whirlpool 25.2-cubic-foot French Door Smart Refrigerator is $1,199.99 (originally $2,399.99). That’s one of the best refrigerator deals right now.
If you’re looking for a larger fridge, the Samsung Bespoke 30-cubic-foot Smart Refrigerator with 3 Doors is priced at $1,699.99 (originally $2,429.99) and comes with an auto-fill water pitcher inside.
There are also some bargain-priced washing machines, including the Insignia 4.1-cubic-foot top-loading washer, which is on sale for $449.99 (originally $699.99).
