Labor Day sales are already underway. I’ve written about iPad and other tablet sales before, but if you’re looking for a bigger screen, there are plenty of great deals on TVs. Here are the best I found.
I’ve been fortunate enough to spend a couple of months testing the new TCL QM6K QLED TV in person. It’s hard to believe it’s considered a budget TV, given how good it is . The 55-inch model now starts at $447.99 (originally $698 at launch).
TCL also offers the QM7K QD-Mini LED TV , which is a step up from the budget QM6K and is aimed at those willing to pay a little more for better picture quality. The 65-inch TV is currently priced at $997.99 (originally $1,499.99), a 33% discount. There are other models with good discounts, too. For more on this TV, read PCMag’s review, which gave it an “Excellent” rating .
I like Roku TVs for their practicality. The remote is a Roku, and the operating system is also a Roku, so media navigation and playback are easy, without having to insert a flash drive into the back. The 2025 Roku Pro Series 75-inch TV is now $799.99 (originally $998), its lowest price ever. For more on this Roku TV, read PCMag’s review, which gave it an “Excellent” rating .
If you’re looking for a truly huge TV, check out the Hisense 98″ Class QD5 QLED TV, which is currently on sale for $1,497.99 (originally $2,298) — its lowest price since its release earlier this year. It comes with my favorite Google TV OS, which lets you stream content from your phone or computer without any hassle. Plus, it has a built-in 144Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync Premium technology, so gaming will be smooth. And with Dolby Vision Atmos and HDR 10+ support, movie nights are a blast.
The Sony BRAVIA 5 is a mid-range TV from Sony’s 2025 LED TV lineup, with plenty of dimming zones and Mini LED backlighting technology for crisp, bright images. It runs Google TV OS, supports Dolby Vision, and offers good brightness when watching SDR content. Be careful of glare from reflections, though, as they can make viewing difficult. The 65-inch version is available for $1,198 (originally $1,499.99).
For those looking to splurge on an OLED TV, the 55-inch LG C5 is priced at $1,396.99 (originally $1,799.99) and the 65-inch is priced at $1,796.99 (originally $2,696.99). This OLED model came out this year, and it’s great to see it at such a deep discount . According to CNET’s review , it has the excellent picture quality you’d expect from an OLED TV, great gaming performance, and excellent contrast even in bright rooms.
