Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Still Selling for Almost Half Price After Prime Day
The Galaxy Watch 8 is just around the corner , and to celebrate, Samsung is offering a huge discount on last year’s Galaxy Watch 7. Prime Day saw the watch’s price drop by nearly 50%, but according to price tracking tools , it’s still the lowest ever. If you’re a Samsung fan or an Android user looking to add a great smartwatch to your tech, now is the time to pick up the Galaxy Watch 7.
The smaller 40mm watch is now marked down to $159.99 (originally $299.99); the previous minimum price was $199 . The watch is only available in cream. The larger 44mm model is marked down to $199.99 (originally $329.99). Both models are Bluetooth-enabled, so you’ll need Wi-Fi or a phone within Bluetooth range to connect to the internet.
WearOS-based smartwatch with Samsung One UI
The Galaxy Watch 7 works well with both the Android and Samsung ecosystems. It is based on the WearOS 5 platform, but also supports Samsung’s One UI Watch 6 interface. The watch is powered by a 3nm Exynos W1000 processor, which is faster than the previous model. In addition, the Watch 7 has a circular display (1.3 inches on the 40mm model and 1.5 inches on the 44mm model) and a brighter Super AMOLED display with 2000 nits of brightness.
The battery lasts 30 hours and supports Qi wireless charging up to 10 watts. There’s 32 GB of built-in storage, and dual-frequency GPS provides accurate workout tracking. The BioActive sensor has been updated with more LEDs (13 instead of four on the Watch 6) to better track heart rate, sleep quality, blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, and stress levels, especially during high-intensity workouts.
The Galaxy Watch 7 also features Galaxy AI , which provides an “energy rating,” offers health tips, suggests replies to notifications, and can detect sleep apnea.
